10th Working Group meeting for ports and inland waterway managers

Representatives of Port Governance Agency participated in the 10th meeting of the Working Group for ports and inland waterways of the Rhine-Danube Corridor, held in Brussels on November 21, 2018. Meeting was organized by the European Coordinator for the Rhine-Danube Corridor, Karla Peijs.

The topic of this year’s meeting was the current status of changes in legislation in the field of inland waterway transport and ports, digitization of administrative processes and opportunities for the development of ports and promising markets. Participants also discussed the current realization of projects on the Danube and planned activities for the period 2019-2021. Representatives of the Agency presented the most important current projects in inland waterway transport, as well as the future projects that could be financed through available European funds.

After analyzing the possibilities and proposed project activities, it will be decided which of the potential projects could be financed through European funds.
