Government passes additional measures to avert spread of coronavirus

The Serbian government passed on March 10 additional measures to avert the spread of COVID-19, following the recommendations of Serbian epidemiologists and in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

A temporary ban on entry into Serbia for foreign nationals coming from the areas with intense corona virus transmission is introduced.

This applies to persons coming from Italy, certain provinces of the People’s Republic of China, South Korea, Iran and parts of Switzerland.

Please note that the provisions of the Decision of the Government in cargo waterway transport apply to the crew members, while in passenger waterway transport they apply to both crew members and passengers.

Bearing in mind that the prevention and control of this contagious disease is significant for the Republic of Serbia, we kindly ask you to comply with the prescribed measures.
